Following the thread at
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2694602.160 Blissz agreed that it should be open sourced but he will not do it immediately since he did not have the time. That was from January 2018. The thread is lock.
To me it appears that there is no real intention to open source the firmware based on the GPL license but just to operate privately and maintain earning fees from all the other firmwares currently running on miners.
What do you guys think? I have no problem with someone earning but not on the backs of others without also compensating them.
To Blissz:
If you do not have the time open source it as is and leave the rest up to the community. Or at least be honest about your intensions.
