Anyone know of a phone app or any app that can be used on any device besides a desktop/laptop? My laptop is really out of date and it'll take a while for me to fully update it, clean it up, etc. and I really want to get started NAO!

You can upload your wallet to blockchain.info and use their app at https://blockchain.info/wallet/iphone-app

This is the only wallet app in the App Store (I think!).

Try it and let us know if that worked for you. Also, it's a good idea to avoid using your laptop if it's not updated.

It sucks, apple doesn't allow any good software-level wallets to be on the appstore. I think blockchain is your only option.

Does anyone know if there are any good wallets available if you jailbreak your iphone? I never tried searching.

Yeah, depending on what you consider to be large, I would keep that amount safely away in an encrypted cold storage so that you don't run the risk of losing your coins. Online wallets in general aren't particularly safe and there always seem to be some security hole or "hack" that leads to a loss of coins. I would really only use it for making small online transactions and that's about it.
