I'm a buy & holder. My last batch was at 1130. And I don't regret it.

Been buying whenever I had fiat ever since I got into bitcoin about 3 months ago. Before that it was 700, 300s and on and on. Still very much in the black even at the lowest point over the past few days.

These swings are necessary. If the market can't survive them, then bitcoin will never amount to anything of consequence. Relax, take a break for a few days, then come back and wonder how we managed to reach yet another ATH.

Oh, and I also had a dream. I dreamt that all bears went into hibernation for a year. It was a nice dream.

Look inside yourself, and you will see that you are the bubble.

Since 2012 I've bought a lot at ATH and never sold at crashes. Many told me I'm silly but now I'm sure it was best investment in my life and all the "crashes" were actually bear traps.

In the end, what you did or what you paid to get them won't matter.  Wink

Any time you release your Bitcoins for fiat you are risking not ever getting them back.

If you're there to make money that's great, but others just love the BTC

Oh hell yea. A coin that loses value over time, they'd love it. Wait, doesn't that seem familiar?

Oh, no.  He might have to wait a week, or maybe even a month, before his bitcoins gain in value.  The horror!

You have to be really lucky to buy at a super high price or sell at a super low price imo, because then afterwards you can tell stories of how much an idiot you were making your silly mistakes, but in the long term still profited from it.

I bought a lot of BTC at $1180 actually thinking it was just going to go a lot higher, I don't regret it now though obviously, I actually feel lucky and it's going to be a good story to tell in the future.

I wouldn't worry about buying in at $1130.  I read elsewhere on this forum that by conservative analysis we should see a price of $10k sometime in 2015 and a million US dollars per bitcoin in 2018.  I look forward to discharging my entire mortgage by 2018 through running my BFL ASICs for a few weeks.  Sure beats working.
