As you may have heard, Canadian Carleton University in Ottawa used bitcoin's P2P system to protect votes from any fraudulent behavior. http://people.scs.carleton.ca/~clark/projects/commitcoin/

This should not be in Marketplace.

I wonder how they address the 51% security problem (if there's any for them)? Total network power can't be the answer, I don't expect CommitCoin to have a very high priority on people's merged mining pools, but election fraud would be a serious issue...
