Hi all.
Cant post in the other alt forums because of my n00bie status so ive come here for a bit of a whinge and to see if anyone else is in the same boat!
Been trying to use cryptsy for the past 3 hours or so trying to buy back in to Quark after selling a few on the other night and its just a nightmare. Ive got no idea how many coins this site has lost me now but it must be a few thousand now.
Its all but impossible to use, you cant see what price anyone is really selling at, people just throw massive random figures into the buy box artificially rising the price (because they too have no idea what is going on) and the whole thing is just all out war. Every time i click to press buy or sell i know itll end in disaster with a good 20 minute wait to see what the random outcome maybe. Ive bailed on the site now as its totally unusable but these guys need to get a grip of their website and fast.
Anyone else lost their coins due to the insane lagging going back and forth? Sad

I agree cryptsy is very sluggish at times. It took overnight to reimburse a cancelled buy order I placed so it can take a while. On the plus side, their service support is actually pretty good at replying to emails. I would open a support ticket and try to put date/time stamps so they can look into where the coins are. At times I almost feel like taking screenshots every time I do a trade just in case Wink

I had some satoshis disappear for some hours, as I was trying to buy into SBC.
I got the BTC back, but when I looked to redo the transaction the price had gone up, so I bailed.

Autotrade seems to be out of service as well.

Really hope Cryptsy pulls through though, my initial impression on joining was good!

The site just feels over baked to me.
Im a web developer and i look at the calls that the website is making via firebug and it just absolutely hammers the hell out of it. Ajax calls none stop - 5 to 10 a second while viewing any given page, it must murder their database. I know its nice eye candy and all to have the stats adjusting on the fly on the left...but when your site runs this slow why dont they tone it down or off for a bit? Just seems theyre doing nothing to help resolve it at the moment. Effeciency needs to be their #1 and only priority right now.

Im not saying their support isnt good or anything like that - ive not had any coins actually go missing, but the site is so slow no-one can think fast and act and by the time the site responds its too late. They at least need to turn off all commissions on sales and buys as a good will gesture because it wont be long before their site gets trumped and everyone moves elsewhere.

Cryptsy is good at handling their trouble tickets, even if you have to wait a while to get the issue resolved.  It seems like they haven't been able to handle the recent new influx of users interested in Altcoins.

I too have had issue with deposits and withdrawals, no coins have disappeared, but they do tend to take a while, hours upon hours in some instances.
