Hey guys,

Are there alternatives to GPU for mining scrypt coins (like LTC) or are the people I see on my pool that do 144,000 Kh/s using over a 1000 video cards?

Nope, currently only GPUs can mine scrypt unless there's some FPGA/ASIC that I don't know about...

There is a new Chip that claims to mine bitcoin and litecoin at the same time.

I'm skeptical, LTC ASICs have all been scams so far, but the photos of the chips looked pretty real so you never know.

Most likely explanation is a virus that steals people's GPU power, or a pool within a pool (P2Pools).

It's just 111x video cards! 7990's = 1.3MH/s each.  Wink
