Is it sort of a human version of Kickstarter?

I've heard many friends talk about this new potential token, SSC.
It's a company who is on Achain's blockchain.

It is named SelfSell, and they want to invite young talentuous people.
Honestly, when the first time I heard about that, I thought about Kickstarter, but human version!

It's quite interesting! Does anyone have same feeling as me ?
