Best way to mine Protoshares

I'm a newbie at the newbies forum then, so I hope this question is not stupid one.
I have been reading about mining Protoshares but I can't find specific information about the right way to do that.
Is a personal PC like i7 core suitable for doing it?

coyoteminer 0.3.0 is what i use , just place your own walletadress in the batchfile and start mining , hope it helpes mining for you , succes

Whould you mind to post results with your CPUs miing protoshares

I have 3770k scoring 154 collisions and 2,5 shares per minute. Don't know real numbers, is this ok or not?
