Just got an email from Overclockers, and they're listing a load of hardware that's "Great for Mining" - including PSUs, GPUs and the like.

Nice to see them getting in on the action, though I wonder how they'll deal with all the returns of melted PSUs and burnt out GPUs?  Cheesy

I can imaging the call to get the RMA number, "Can you please send us a jpg of your 12 screen game machine" Smiley

I think the end result will more like that of Gigabyte where the hardware will self protect by removing overclock ability such as the rev2 7950, PSU's with tighter limits on overload and temp per connector, etc. That way the amount of kit that would need to be RMA'ed will be far less.

If I have been help then please show your thanks         BTC: 127PRogAVZiV3fEmpJERh9KemK3a3Ffh6G         LTC: LXghFL8mZffpTFkm2nRTesuDrV5DJQP3Js

Yeah, I remember sending back a GPU to them years ago.  It literally blew up the first time I plugged it in (I think it was a GF2MX), a cap just evaporated leaving a burnt hole in the board.

About a month later the fried card arrived back with "No Fault Found".   Roll Eyes  Yeah, no fault apart from the 1cm hole in the board and no video output, and no POST on the PC...
