Hey buddies,

like you can imagine my password for my multibit wallet doesn't fuction anymore. I used a 24 letter password that I did with the random.org Password Generator. I have secured my wallet with a password after reading an article about hackers stealing bitcoins but now I can't get it my own wallet. I have the password in a TextEdit rtf-file and copied it from random.org into that file (about 2 weeks ago). Now I wanted to use my wallet again and I can't send something. I have more than 420 Euros in this wallet and I am a student who can't throw around with money like Bill Gates.

Maybe someone knows a bruteforce programm? I still have the password but maybe there's been added blanks because I copied it from the rtf-file.
Can somebody help me?

Why don't you try again from the editor/browser to copy it?

Try combinations with different numbers of leading/trailing spaces.
If the password is purely random it will take a while to bruteforce from scratch.
You could try random combinations with characters swapped and/or added to your existing passsword perhaps.  A bruteforce app may help here.

It's probably nothing to do with your problem, but I heard windows and mac computers treat spaces and special characters like linefeeds differently. Maybe that is the problem if you have swapped computers. Otherwise I have no clue how to crack a strong password.

A miner could crack a hash in no time. I doubt they can crack passwords with their mining gear though.
