Hello fellows,

Three questions for ya that I can't seem to find the answer to anywhere online.

NUMERO UNO) I want to backup my wallet.dat (manually, ie not using the qt backup), but alas, I can't seem to find it. I'm using a dogecoin-qt for Mac and I highly suspect the "Mac" bit to be the issue, but probably the DOGEcoin adds to it.  I've looked in the ~/Library/Application Support  location, suspecting to find myself a folder named "Dogecoin" or "dogecoin-qt" and then within this file the wallet.dat, but to no avail for there is no such Dogecoin/dogecoin-qt folder in the Application Support location. such fail. plz help.

NUMERO DOS!) I've been mining for a bit now using the doge.scryptpools.com pool and just recently the pool.testserverino.de pool and had ok success considering my hardware. I've been able to set up some drones out of a few of my school's comps and thought it smart to use different workers per comp so as to keep things easier to decipher. All that has worked, but I can't seem to find anyway of seeing which worker has done which transactions. In other words, while I can tell which worker is active (ie. working) or not (ie. something's gone wrong on that drone), I can't find a way to tell which worker is performing the best of the crew. Not sure if that is a thing, but I was hoping it was.

NUMERO TRES) I use SMC Fan Control to keep my comp running cool (since Mac's fans wont truly kick in until your temps are WAY too high; silly mac!) and IStat Pro to monitor my temps. I've noticed though that the temp that SMC gives is always wayyy (ie. 15C-20C) higher than any of the temps IStat gives. There's no indication of what exactly the SMC temp is monitoring. Any ideas? The only temp that IStat doesn't give is CPU Diode, which would make since for SMC to be monitoring. That being said, I'm only GPU mining. Why in the DOGE would my CPU Diode temp be nearly 20C higher than my GPU Diode temp when I'm only GPU mining and not using my comp for anything else??? I've been mainly ignoring the disparity and going with my IStat temps, but I must say that when the SMC temp is up at 95C, I tend to get too worried and either throttle or completely quit my mining.

For the sake of not being called out for being a SUPAnoob, here's my comp deatz and my miner setups:

MacBook Pro Retina 2013 15", OS X 10.9, 2.7GHz Intel Core i7, 16GB 1600 MHz DDR3, Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024MB, NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB, 500 GB SSD

Cgminer 3.7.2 for Mac OS X, Asteroid frontend, Usually run both cards at intensity of 11

I'm not a mac guy so I don't know much there, but for #1 can't you just search the whole computer for wallet.dat?  In the windows version of dogecoin you can go file -> backup wallet.  The mac version might have an equivalent option.

For #2 I think the only way to see performance per worker is the hash rate shown on the workers screen.  At least, I don't see anywhere else where it'd be.

On Windows, the debug log shows the used data directory in its first lines. You can show it from the debug window, in the help menu.

Success!

@tsumeone, the search all feature didn't work for some reason, but thanks for the tip.
As for your bit about the workers, yea I think that's the only way to tell. So no way to get a end report.

Ended up finding it right where I thought it would be. ~Library/Application Support/Dogecoin/wallet.dat

No idea why it didn't show up before. seems my power cycle created the Dogecoin folder in Application Support.

Any way all good on that end! yeeehaaw!
