I like Vertcoin and back the ASIC resistance coin but lately its been silent in the market with the trade volume pretty low. One of the reasons I found was that because Bittrex was not allowing new member registrations and since no new members were looking into the coin the volume slowly reduced. Another being the inability to list on another major exchange. I do understand that there are ups and downs in a market but I think vertcoin is currently depending too much on exchanges for its survival. there is only so much a community can do to keep the coin alive. And vertcoin apart from a few advantages is very similar to Litecoin. These similarities have been hurting vertcoin a lot. In general anyone would prefer a well set litecoin instead of a huffing and puffing vertcoin. So it got me thinking what if vertcoin was POS instead of POW. lately a lot of POS coins are turning up with even existing coins like ethereum moving to POS. Apart from Market investment will there be any positives if Vertcoin moves to POS from POW? just throwing it out there.
