Has anyone tried cashing out from MT gox recently (CAD/USD)

I know they were having issues a while ago. Has it been solved ?

There's a whole 100 page long thread on this issue.

In summary, unless you pay the 5% for manual processing of your withdraw, you cannot withdraw CAD/USD from MtGox right now (you haven't been able to since june).

BitStamp and BitFinex are good exchanges that support CAD/USD withdraw.

If you're in the US, check out CampBx, they support ACH withdraw directly to your bank account. They are a good company too.

CoinBase also works in the USA, also a good company.

If you're in canada, CaVirtex is available to Canadian citizens.

I just put a little BTC in my Mt Gox the other day and then later got some other alt-coin with that and it worked just fine.  I wouldn't know about withdrawing in USD, I've never done that there.  I like Coinbase for general purposes.
