I see. What concerns me the most is that some people claimed they got hacked and lost their bit coins. In general, storing or transferring bit coins can be quite dangerous due to the nature of this peer to peer network. Do you use Tor browser to conceal your IP address?
If you take the right secure measures you will be fine, like don't use a web wallet. Keep your anti-security, firewall all up to date. Use paper wallets when you can, no one can be hacked on a paper wallet, you can lose them but keep them safe.
In the beginning I was always scared about a transaction but if you double check everything before hitting that send button you should be good.
I don't use tor, I am using a VPN some times and sometimes nothing. But most of my wealth is in paper-wallets, and if someone hacked my computer they get maybe $10 worth of bitcoins or less.
