I did email cryptsy already but being impatient because I just started to actually use bitcoins and not sure how this problem can be fixed.

I was looking at my cryptsy deposits and noticed my last two bitcoin deposits have not posted. They both have over 50 confirmations in my bitcoin wallet for the two transfers. They were sent about 10 hours ago.

I was wondering, is a problem like this fixable? Is the information in my bitcoin wallet enough to show and prove that I made the deposits to them? Or should I expect the worst?

All my other bitcoin deposits went through fine, I always used the same address to send the bitcoins.

While the Cryptsy chat is down, you can get Cryptsy support from jdtmp444 at MCX (its chat is still online):

https://mcxnow.com/

Cheers for their outreach!

Direct support is also available on IRC. Patience!

I've had very slow deposits but never one that didn't turn up at all.

I seem to remember my last BTC->Cryptsy took 12-14 hours.  For other alts I had just over a 4 hours wait earlier today.

I normally just raise a ticket and stick the TXid in there. For deposits though they've normally fixed themselves before the support ticket gets updated by anyone.

Crap, did a test for .001 bitcoins and it went through.

Then I changed my cryptsy deposit address and sent in another test but somewhat larger at .04 bitcoins and now that is not showing up.

Jeez. now I'm out three deposits.

This might come across mean, but I just have to say this:

I always have to laugh when the first couple pages of the forum are being spammed with Cryptsy horror stories and then people continue to use them knowing there are problems and then they are shocked when "SURPRISE!!! Your coins didn't show up either!!!".

Not only that, but when your first two transactions didn't work, you tried two more transactions and are again surprised that one of them didn't come through...?

Cryptsy is having issues at the moment, stop using them until the issues get worked out and then go back, otherwise you'll just have to deal with losing coins in limbo until Cryptsy can dig through their 4,000+ support requests to finally reach yours...

Well its more in faith in the hope that it gets fixed. I mean they get a cut of everything we trade so would that be enough motivation to keep the wheels oiled and things running smoothly? I mean you lose people and then you lose money. Its just poor business sense.

yes, cryptsy is not working at the moment, it's like a zombie, no deposits, no withdraws, I haven't tried trading in the last 10 hours but I guess it's not working.
there are already various threads on this forum with people complaining and this is going on for a couple of weeks already.
I wouldn't deposit anything to cryptsy right now until the issues are fixed.
you can join #cryptsy and cryptsy_support @ freenode IRC server

The same for me Sad BTC Deposits work for me today, but:
1. Trade LTC\BTC was not executed: LTC disappeared, BTC didn't arrive (12 LTC)
2. Buying WDC was not executed, BTC disappeared, WDC didn't come to me (0.6 BTC)

All this cost me not more than 1BTC,  not so much, but enough for me. Possibly audit will be run and fix that, but I won't use Cryptsy and tell as many people as I can not to use this exchange until they fix their issues. I wanted to get Datacoin to Cryptsy, but now I see that this exchange can really disturb confidence for all newcomers who want to buy DTC. We're going to focus on BTER, in case of any issues - GDocs exchange (no, I'm not joking - it's the only way now).

I have lost patience with Cryptsy once and for all. Deposits take forever, one of mine has 133 confirmations and it's still pending for some stupid reason. You try to trade for a price and it kept logging me out every 2 minutes and then the Captcha wasn't working so it took about 20 attempts to log back in. They must make a FORTUNE from the fees so there is NO excuse for the level of incompetence on their platform. I would understand if it was free but it is far from free. Where to fuck is this money going? It clearly isn't going on maintaining a professional platform. Anyway I used Coins-e once and it was fast, although the volume is lower than Cryptsy that should increase very soon as more people tire of Cryptsy's incompetence. I haven't used Vircurex yet but it has to be better than Cryptsy.

If a platform isn't working properly it should NOT be open for use, simple as that. Close Cryptsy until it fucking WORKS, but alas common sense is very uncommon.
