I don't get why all these savvy "Wall Street" investors are waiting until *after* the next round of pointless senate hearings to invest. If they're so interested in the future of bitcoin (as many people here seem to believe), then why not start investing now BEFORE the prices begin to skyrocket. Isn't that kind of the point of investing?

Maybe because it is unethical to invest other peoples money in a product that might become illegal or has a too high risk ratio.... just my BTC0.02

Bitcoin is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get !!

I doubt wall street types act according to some type of ethics much. They could be fearing legal repercussions, though. A broker might not necessarily look only at risk/reward in a potential investment he might recommend to his clients, but also at how well it can be argued later on (should the client sue for bad advice, fraud or whatever) that the investment was looking sound at the time.
