Addition of privacy coin (ZCash) @ Coinbase BUT with only taddresses - worth it?

Why is Coinbase planning to add ZCash (ZEC)? The only unique thing in Zcash is the combination of transparent & private addresses, while Coinbase is *most probably* not going to deal in z-addresses of Zcash as stated here:

We may also only enable certain ways to interact with these assets through our site, such as supporting only deposits and withdrawals from transparent Zcash addresses.

That leaves the addition of ZCash with only t-addresses (and no private/z-addresses) which is useless.

IMO, addition of even Doge would be better than the addition of Zcash taddress-only. Not worth it.

Agreed. One should also mention that:

So the developers of Zcash are collecting 20 percent founders reward for 4 years after inception.
