Hi,

Am I doing something wrong?
Will it make any difference if I change to another mining-pool?
My network connection is from a 3G connection (that works ok for surfing and streaming video), could a better connection make a difference?

hello dear
 i have the same program
I received the Butterfly 50GH/s Unit recently,
when i run the cgminer, it only getting around 25GH/s,

the highest speed is 42GH/s in the passed time, but it didn't last more than 1 hour,  after the 1 hour, the speed is becomed to 19GH/s.

what wrong with it ?

Are you sure your power supply is fully functional?

If it doesn't give enough energy, you might not get the hashing power expected.

Check you are using stratum protocol. 3G is high latency (200ms usually) which is not conducive to low latency work. You send 10 getwork, thats 10 x 200 ms for the work to do the round trip and come back. Scale it up and do the maths. In times your local 3g tower is busy, thatlatency is going to rocket up even more (and some packet loss dropped in for good measure). 4G can help too - if you can get it.

If you are using stratum, then as the previous poster said - its more than likely the PSU.
