DogeCoin as my first Crypto currency

This is my first Crypto currency
Well kinda. I heard about bitcoin when it was a mere $20 per coin. I tried to mine, but I was too lazy to figure it out. I paid the price
But nope! I will not be missing the tail end of this train!
I have mined 100k doge and counting.
What about you newbies? Experiences? Tips?
