I am a new member to the forum too.

I have had the gaming hardware laying around my house and just got into mining a week ago and I've already cashed out 40 bucks. WHOAAA! Except- it puts it to me that when I want to game that it literally costs me money. Like playing World of Tanks on my gaming machine costs me 20 cents an hour in lost mining productivity basically. le Sigh.

I'm tech savvy but am actually a business professional with a lot of education in finance, accounting, and economics (theory). I have been watching bitcoin/altcoins news and movements and am coming to the conclusion that it's here to stay as a currency and we may as well get used to this type of payment. I hope it ROCKS the traditional payment processing world- though I think once coins become harder to mine that the fees will go up. The short processing time will always help out. I'd like to someday pay my bills in bitcoin instead of ACH bank-draft.

So I'll be mining and trading to my heart's content and trying to ignore the BTC-e TROLLBOX there.. It seems like every other minute some doofus or asshole is dropping a tip that a coin is gonna crash or China is waking up...

I know people have an aversion to regulation on Bitcoins like what they call 'fiat' money (bitcoin is also fiat money, by the way) but in regulated trading markets, that kind of trolling is actually illegal...I know quite a bit about the US financial system and markets and do believe that the US could step onto this platform and help it along rather than stifle it like China has kind of done regarding the liquidity of the BTC.

I AM NOT TROLLING BY SAYING THAT! I DO ACTUALLY BELIEVE BITCOIN NEEDS TO BE WATCHED OVER AND HANDLED BY SOME REGULATIONS! Not to the extent of the US Dollar what with the Federal Reserve and all the banks but our banks store and transact a LOT of foreign currency on open exchanges into the billions of units per year, bitcoin honestly is no different as long as we use and accept it within the community.

A currency without borders.
