Some of us live in countries where there is no other method.
I tried using wester union once, but to send 50$ I had to pay 20$ extra.
so WU is a no go.
Paypal is easy to setup with a VISA debit account and makes things safe, easy and cheap for the paypal user.
Doing international wire transfers have commissions up to 20% and extra for converting currencies.
Some other e-wallets ask for phone verification. This is a problem in peru, since most of those companies use international call centers that for some reason are banned in my country. (Google phone verification works without trouble as an example of a company that doesn't use said call centers)

So yea... paypal is pretty much the only method to move money in some cases like mine.

Only 99.99% are lol. Paypal is primarily used because of its ease of use, lower fees and the fact that it can be used by scammers to chargeback. There are very few people left who actually are trustable enough to do a PP trade.

I did about 10 paypal transactions for btc, got scammed only first 2 times. Its easy to pick out the scammers now.

I have bought and sold 8 succesful transactions.

I'm leary to even buy btc with paypal because you hear so much about chargebacks, that I'm paranoid anyone actually accepting paypal from strangers/low feedback traders must have some type of scam in mind themselves.  Obviously not the case but my luck has been bad dealing with individuals.  Lots of traders I've bought from on btc-otc,with hundreds of positive feedbacks, ran off with dozens of thousands only weeks later..  You never know.

If you pay with paypal, never receive your coins, youre NOT going to get any refund after the paypal account is cleared out.  Paypal recovered 56 cents for me once on a 300 dollar scam...
