not that I know of, if there is one it has to be a light wallet that does not store all the blockchains locally but on a server, otherwise your HD would be filll up pretty quick with all those blockchains

I think the idea of one mega wallet a la blockchain wallet on steroids is awesome but I guess the biggest issue is trust.  Although you have a wallet you dont really have total control of that wallet - website disappears tomorrow where are your coins?

If someone could solve it and make it available in a stable, secure and trustworthy package I believe there would be money in it for them.  I know personally I'd be willing to pay a small monthly fee to avoid having a hard drive full of blockchains.

A service like this would be really nice.  Especially if the creators of a new coin registered their coins with that service before going live with them.  Currently I set up a VM every time I install a wallet for a new coin.  Its not difficult but it uses up more resources then I'd like.

It's possible. I think it's even theoretically possible to use one priv/pub pair for almost every coin out there with fairly minimal extra security threat, though if you have significant amounts in many currencies, you'd want a multi-coin offline solution.

I think a multi-currency lite client (even open source, and probably even if it were released in fairly shitty condition) could bring in quite a bit of money simply by attaching a new fee to transactions or through selling client licenses, which is relatively doable since you have to interface with a centralized web server (though it'd still be trivial to remove the fees). Each time you download an updated client, it resets the server list, so it points at the devs' servers - so it'd still be very possible to "over-ride" the fees, but there's a fair chance most people aren't going to be arsed to screw the devs out of what they feel they're owed for their time, especially if the fee's fairly small.
