I'm having a strange issue with bfgminer (and seemingly nothing else). I use a windows 8 x64 computer that connects to the internet via a wireless atheros card. It also has a wired NIC that I use to connect another PC locally. When bridging is disabled, bfgminer starts up and runs great for weeks with no issues. However, if I enable bridging (Open adapter settings, highlight the wireless nic, highlight the wired nic, right click on one of them and choose "Bridge Connection") bfgminer will close almost immediately and will continue to close every time I launch it. However, other things that use the internet continue to function fine (chrome, ie, multibit, ping, etc...) If I simply open the adapters, right click on the bridge and choose "Delete" and confirm it, so that I am no longer bridged, bfgminer begins working normally. I've tried this with 3.8.0-win64 and 3.8.1-win64 with the same results. I have not tried any of the other mining software, but I think I'm going to try cgminer next... I just prefer bfgminer. Has anyone encountered this? is there a workaround?

Thanks in advance.
