The more people that join the Meetup community the more useful it will be for this kind of thing.

Just started a Portland, OR meetup community. I have a friend who is a miner (neither of us knew the other was into bitcoin.) Will try to get something started!

The Denver Bitcoin market has been slowly growing.  http://www.meetup.com/denver-bitcoin/

We're working out some of the kinks in a payment system, so that we can start hosting local bitcoin-only events and sales. If anyone else is interested in these sorts of events, let me know.  I can be PMed here, on the meetup, or at http://bearbones.us/contact.html.

Now up and running: http://www.meetup.com/PhillyBitcoin/

Well, almost, we still need a place to host it and a time. Any suggestions?

Let me know how it turns out, especially if you manage to establish it as a regular thing, also if any place that accepts bitcoins in your area too.

so I can add it on to http://bitcoinnavigator.com
