Hi,

Yesterday I installed a new HDD to my MBP. Then I installed OS Mavericks. After rebuilding my Computer with TimeMachine Backup BitcoinQT is not downloading the BC. Some other QTs (LTC, PPC, DEM) work proper without any failure.
My transactions and the Funds are there, but there is a message like

"Transactions may be incorrect. Maybe You or other Nodes have to Upgrade"

It's the 0.8.6 Client.

Where is the Location of the BC?
Any Idea what to do?

What location is the Blockchain saved? Maybe theres an Error, so I want to delete it and maybe then it works.

It is probable that the blockchain database has become desynchronized or corrupted from the move.

The default OSX data directory is ~/Library/Application Support/Bitcoin/

You do not state if you have multiple connections to other Bitcoin peers. Supposing that you do and there are no network problems, the least difficult and most likely way to get things running is to start bitcoin-qt with the -reindex command-line option. And wait.

QT says there are 8 Connections and it's synchronizing, but even after Days nothing happens. The other QTs are working.

There's no Bitcoin Folder at ~/Library/Application Support/ and I can't find a Folder named Bitcoin with Spotlight.

I'll try the command Line Option. So I have to start BicoinQT from Terminal using -reindex?

Edit: Found the Bitcoin Folder, the debug log said something with "invalid Chain". So I'll make a BackUp, delete the Chain and try it again..

Thanks a lot!

Edit2: Deleting ~/Library/Application Support/Bitcoin and new installation solved it. Don't forget to backup wallet.dat!
