Can someone educate me on Master Coin (the new one, not the cheap one)

It's over $200 for one.

This is not to be mistaken for MasterCoin that is going for under a dollar.

All I know is, is that this coin is supposedly a layer built on top of Bitcoin and still uses blockchain.info, so does this mean it is not in direct competition with Bitcoin?

Can anyone school me on this?

mskryxz in my opinion every crypto currency may compete with one another just like currencies compete in forex market today like USD/Eur or USD/JPY. But at first all crypto currencies will unitedly fight with currencies and ones they are wiped off then they shall compete with one another.
