Hope to learn more from staying here and reading different threads. I notice that the forum is sort of divided; most serious discussions seem to happen in the Bitcoin Discussion subforum and the altcoin and offtopic ones seem to be a horror fest of spam, misjudgments, scammers, liers, etc.

Many people and mods here simply ignored the whole altcoin section.

Not a bad idea ^^^ If you want to focus on BTC and not get distracted and or confused the amount of coins to be found there.
