before you flame me, I know there are 1-2 false positives every time you check a xxxcoin qt on virustotal.

I did that on the 24th and found 2.

just now, I rechecked the chicoin qt and found 3 times as many hits this time than on the 24th!

https://www.virustotal.com/en-gb/file/6f8bc3f91d4943d87981e2ca63724b609c8e234e64f274c1d66ebb629b38a701/analysis/1388155236/

usually, if it's false positives, the number goes down.

this time it tripled.

I have a really bad feeling since I was stupid enough to try this piece of shit coin

but I am not an expert. could someone who knows a bit more about this, maybe check this out and report his/her findings?

thx a lot

Helpful if you at least tell where is was uploaded so people know to stay away. There might actually be a legit copy out there..

this is from the very first and official link the chi coin guy provided.

I think it is additionally worrying that he seems to have no interest in keeping his coin alive.

if he just wanted to grab a few passwords or WALLETS with his "coin", a quick release might be all he wanted.

he'd not be interested in having it succeed and too many people checking the files

If you are really that worried jut go back in time to before you installed the client. Use the System Restore function in Windows.
