The first crypto-currency to become a platform will blow up.

By platform I mean peer-to-peer decentralized exchange.

After that, all altcoins will be obsolete. You will have no choice but use the crypto-platform.

I know they all think doge and other types of altcoin are going to worth millionaires even though litecoin and namecoin has already been successful.

On a mission to make Bitcointalk.org Marketplace a safer place to Buy/Sell/Trade

I know they all think doge and other types of altcoin are going to worth millionaires even though litecoin and namecoin has already been successful.

Why would I want to invest in an altcoin that already has already successful? And honestly define successful? They had a couple weeks of fame and now they're just about done. They'll exist and maybe have little spikes here and there, but don't expect to invest and be rolling in it in a couple weeks. Besides, Litecoins's value has been steady dropping the past month and I don't see it shooting back up anytime soon. Same deal with Namecoin, which imho is a stupid name and that's one of the most important parts of any coin.

I threw like 30 usd into Doge for a few reasons. One, the name. While I don't think the name will be adopted by major businesses and the professional world, the internet community is TIGHT. Everybody knows Doge, like it's familiar. It just kind of speaks to internet culture. It's not like Earthcoin or Ethereum or however you spell it which just seems like they're trying to sound cool. Two, again, the community. The reddit forum for it is really active, and I feel like it just kind of captures a large portion of the internet population. It would make sense if, years from now, you had Bitcoin for your professional, business transactions and finances, and Dogecoin for your personal transactions and finances. There's definitely room for more than one cryptocurrency in a lasting perspective. Finally, I think that while functionality is important, that's not what people look at when they go to buy a coin. They buy because their friend or family member told them about it; and that again goes back to community.

I like how this person thinks that he is a genius because he has been here longer than most people, but he would be better off judging people by their ideas not their age... That is how corporate America works

BTW I can't believe that you even put XPM out there.  It is a complete and utter scam.
