Ok so I recently got a cheap asus 7950 and I was wondering if anyone has any good cgminer settings I could use? At the moment I am getting 600 KH/s (Not counting the %5 rejects) with this: cgminer --scrypt -I 20 -g 1 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 24000 --gpu-engine 1100 --gpu-memclock 1250 --gpu-vddc 1.087 --temp-target 65 --auto-fan -o stratum+tcp:/.... -u x -p x

Also what would the expected hashrates be?

I don't have any 7950's so I can't say what the expected hashrates are, but just read through ckolivas notes on optimizing GPU and follow his steps:

https://github.com/ckolivas/cgminer/blob/v3.7.2/SCRYPT-README

The only thing I can note about your settings is that you have a very low temperature target. I believe the safe limit as set by AMD is 95 degrees. Personally, I try to target around 80.

Does it make a difference which 7950 you have? I bought a few from Sapphire. Thanks Smiley

1. there is a compiled scrypt binary that increases 7950 speeds by 20KH/s somewhere in these forums -- track it down.
2. TC of 20000 is what I use - optimal with above binary
3. Intensity 20 seems steads
4. 1100/1500 was giving me the best hash rates but was unstable.. Switched to 1075/1250 and the hash rates dropped an acceptable amount for the stability and energy savings provided.  Hashing at about 640kh/s.

4000 chars available and all I got was this stupid tagline.

I used to run my 4 msi twin frozr 7950 cards at 1050/1250 getting 655 each card at 1.044v then I dropped them to 1000/1250 and only lost 5khashes each card but saved on power.. so win for me.

If you like what I've posted, mine for me on whatever algo you like on www.zpool.ca for a minute using my bitcoin address: 1BJJYPRcRPzTEfByCwkeJ8SCBcrnGD1nhL
