He seems to think that he looks LESS SUSPICIOUS if he's selling thousands of dollars worth of gift cards. 

You do realize, even if you are selling the millions of dollars worth of GC like you say (even though nobody has vouched for you yet), the whole thing looks a million times more suspicious and scammy?
