Lately datacoins mined have been stuck in the immature category.  I understand they are in this category until they get something like 3300 confirmations but they have been in this state since Tue, 24 Dec 2013 22:39:08 GMT.  I have been mining constantly since this time and have been getting considerably more coins at a faster rate due to what looks like a lower difficulty and a higher block reward. Are all of these coins going to come back as orphans once they get enough confirmations?  Shocked

This happened on 2 of the cloud miners I have been playing with on Digital Ocean but the other ones have been fine on Google Compute and AWS. How did I get into this state and how do I remedy it? Is there a way to prevent this from happening as it went unnoticed for so long? If I restore the wallet, will the immature coins be lost?  Huh

I'm glad to finally post on this forum. Thanks.

This probably doesn't belong in the newbie section but I am blocked from posting elsewhere.  Cry

You need to resync your blockchain.  My ARG wallet did this constantly.  Your coins aren't actually mined in the main blockchain, they are on a fork or invalid.  They will never mature properly.  Also, check and make sure that "testnet=0" exists implicitly in the configuration; some of the poorer clones of litecoin have that problem.   Undecided

In cryptocurrency, if your mined blocks exist in the blockchain, just like your transactions, they will always exist.  As long as you have your wallet, the blockchain you downloaded doesn't matter. The blocks will still belong to you.  Sorry m8.

I have been mining DTC, with a cpu for about the same time with no problems, but once the coins are in the blockchain they are there forever, you are safe.
