Description:
I am running GUIMiner with 2 amd 7970s using miners on openCL.  I am on slush's pool and am using multibit for the wallet.  I have watched several youtube vids on how to set it all up and have followed their instructions to the letter.

Problem:
I've ran both GPUs for over an hour and did not get any "accepted" points (and no "stale" points either).  What could be causing this?

Probably the fact that you're using GPUs. If you're wanting to mine bitcoins, you can't do so using a GPU at all anymore. Even most ASICs are finding it harder and harder to put in the same amount of shares, as the network is growing faster and faster as new, more efficient ASICs are being released.

check your pass, ID worker, pool address and port ...  can you see your hash rate?

try topic about this pool https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1976.msg24844#msg24844  ... maybe you'll find support there.

as a newbie you have to wait few hours to be able to post
