BTC or LTC?

I am a newbie miner and was thinking of taking up mining.

I am planning to buy a R9 280x (currently have a 7870).

Should i mine BTC or LTC?

LTC for GPU mining.

You better mine LTC, or mabye some other profitable coin. Maybe Doge coin or something like that and than you sell it for BTC or LTC

Mine LTC. BTC is way ot of league after the advent of monstrous ASIC MINERS

As above, GPUs are good for the scrypt based coins like LTC. You can always trade for either after you've mined

I think for now, litecoin is easier for the average Joe to mine, but it's up to you OP ..

Better to mine LTC for the beggining and when you see how its to mine, then you will think another ways like ASIC mining

LTC seems easier right now .
