Hello.  If you're like me, there is a grace period before new users can post in other sections of the forum.  There's a sticky at the top of this newbie section which will answer your questions.

It's not 25 posts. It's one consisting of several sentences and 4 hours. I'm not sure if mods even check that whitelist thread anymore either.
