I'm mining with a BFL 5GH/s japaleno using bfgminer.  The hashrate shown on my computer is 5.8Gh/s.  The hashrate shown on my mining.bitcoin.cz account is 358 Mh/s.  That's quite a difference.  Shouldn't the hashrate on the pool website be roughly 5800 Mh/s?
