I got started in Ripple a few days ago and entered their only promotional event ATM via World Community Grid; I've been steadily completing tasks, but I've read there are complications/delays in getting XRP into participants' wallets. At this point my wallet is empty - not activated, so yesterday I joined the xrptalk.org website and posted on the "let's show our faces giveaway" thread for 100 XRP. Today, I cannot log in to their site; it appears my IP has been banned. I was able to log in via a proxy address, but it seems as though my username has been disabled from posting and viewing anything except their forum's front page. That said, I have a couple of questions.
1) Has anyone had a similar experience at XRP Talk?
2) Does anyone know how to contact the admin, Hurukan, directly? (I'm not a spammer and I'm a little pissed about this, seeing as though my IP is attached to a university.)
If anyone is willing to take pity on me, I need 25 ripples to activate my wallet rfY3P1uuZg9aUgv9q5iMoWUs2uZn9m1BgC
Thanks.
