Forums software is completely broken.

1) Search function does not work well. Click page 2 or 3, and you'll get no search results at all, or it forgets the search criteria and just does a random search.
2) Email notification of new topics is erratic. I get random new topic, not all new topics.

well, hackers unite and fix it. simple as that. I've got a thread in meta with features I would want. I hope I will have some time later this year to do some of this. problem is making a new board from scratch and making it safe is a lot of work.

For starter, I think the admin need to update this forum version. The version we are using is Ooooooooooooooooooooollld.

It's more that SMF hasn't seen a new version in 2 years. It itself is old and busted. But I'm sure Theymos is using all that donation BTC to build something better...

He actually is.  He has hired a firm to program a new forum from scratch.
