Hi, I am using a desktop fan on speed 1 for cooling my rig down. Both my gpu's (280x and 7950) are are about 68C with the fan and without it they are 70C-72C. So do I really need the fan on? Thanks

no as long as  you stay under 75c you are good.

as an aside if they can be underclocked just a little.  power can drop a lot as will  temps.  sometimes the last little bit of gh is not worth the over clocking.

when I ran 23 gpus at about  600mh each i would get about 14gh and use close to 4200 watts,

when I ran the same 23 gpus at about 500mh each via under clock I would get about 11 gh and use 2200 watts.

Why would you not run the fan? Run a little $10 case fan, and increase the lifespan on your $500 worth of GPUs? Sounds like a good deal to me.

Tips? 1crazy8pMqgwJ7tX7ZPZmyPwFbc6xZKM9
