I recently opened my BTC to EUR trading page on this forum ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=409207.0 ) and would like to show the updated change I apply with an automated update script.

In order to do so, i see two choices:

1) Scripting a bot witch logs in the forum, opens the topic and edits it. Mods are you ok with it?

2) Buy flash studio, learn action script and make a flash banner to be put in the topic (i would like to avoid this if not necessary).

Please let me know asap!

Yes, Chartbuddy is a bot that posts in the wall observer tnread to post market depth, so there's already a precedent for it. If you're just editing your post I don't see a problem.
