If you are running a huge cookie ( the one you eat ) brand well in this case you could bring BTC mainstream public  in say  1 month .....

Also if you run a soda / beer  company it will work the same way !

and double your sales by the way ! easy to do PM if you run such a business !

This a brainstorming topic about how to bring BTC to be publicized by the general and ordinary public

( this is only way to make this BTC experience valuable )

Any more ideas ....

Write to vendors and explain to them the fact that market exists.  Explain the easy of integration.  I sent out over 100 emails last April doing just that.  One of them was to Overstock.  :-)  I doubt it was my email that turned them on to it, but one never knows.  I know of at least three companies that did as a result of my emails.

If merchants see using BTC as a new way to bring in revenue and there is a positive POI, they will do it.

The overstock (plus porn.com) bitcoin retail launch will set the snowball effect in motion. No marketing needed. bitcoin is in full effect. Expect taking bitcoin to be "the norm" by end of 2014, not the exception. I'm just waiting for amazon, they are the 800lb gorilla Smiley

I think we've reached a point where theres a domino affect.  The days of having to beg/educate a merchant to accept bitcoin seems to be quickly fading away and simply by some large companies  (overstock and now NBA team sacramento kings) accepting bitcoin it should have a snowball effect and spread quickly.

True, we just have to be patient now.

Unless PayPal figures out that he'll die if Bitcoin grows, and decides to put in their 'Terms' that you're not allowed to except PayPal payments if you're accepting Bitcoins.
