Hi everyone. I have been lurking since last year and have learned much about Bitcoin from this site. I started mining Bitcoin last year and have really enjoyed my new hobby. I started purchasing and trading Bitcoin in lieu of upgrading my mining equipment in December and spend most of my time lurking the speculation board to gain more insight into Bitcoin’s price movements.
Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself.

Welcome on board. You need to do more post to get out of the Newbie jail. Thanks for the welcome. I am not sure what else I can include, but I did purchase 2 27" monitors from Overstock.com using Bitcoin. I got them 4 days later and could not be more happy with the simplicity of the transaction. I am looking forward to Bitcoin's growth over the next several years.

Another newbie post, moving to 5, sorry ! You only need one post consisting of several sentences. Making five short ones probably wont cut it.

Welcome on board. You need to do more post to get out of the Newbie jail. No he doesn't. You just need one post and browse the forum for four hours, then you can post elsewhere. I hope it's not one of those scenarios where you have to lick every 30 seconds to be registered as browsing. But I originally thought that you had to achieve 50 posts, so that's good news to me. No more jail time for NordicMoose!

I've just created my account after several months of reading other people's ideas. I posted my first post, and I am waiting for the four hours to end.

Speaking of rep, I'm still puzzled by the "Activity" icon next to a member's name. I haven't seen it on other forums before. I usually notice the number of posts they have made, not the activity. Does this mean that someone can log in for a year and have a high activity count but no posts?

Activity is updated every 30 minutes. Thanks guys. I would have just displayed the total of people's posts, myself, it's less complicated. Never got into mining myself seri because they reduced the mining pay-outs. Some people collaborate which reduces the pay-out per person even more.
