I have found some easy walk through videos regarding mining with a CPU, they helped me get started but I have a decent video card so I would like to use it. Are there any videos walking through the steps for a novice?

Mining on CPU is unprofitable, look at difference CPU between GPU on https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparison

It is an 1GB AMD RADEON HD 7470, w/VGA,OptiPlex, FH

 It has two monitors.
