Hello everyone,

I am selling through litecoinlocal and got this message :

1. I create and give you a btc wallet and password on blockchain with 6 BTC 2. You can login , check BTC, change password and attach and verify to your email this wallet 3. You send me the ltc 4. i release you the transfer keys so you can send BTC to your personal wallet that way block chain role is as escrow

Is this possible? We are trying to exchange bitcoins to litecoins. I am new to this and dont want to make mistakes.

Thank You

No don't trust that message it is far from legit sounds like he may give you a phishing link to a website which looks like blockchain.

No, I wouldn't touch that. It sounds like the start of a nightmare. Just use a trading site to trade coins.

This looks like it could be a scam and even if it's not it looks like an extremely convoluted method for what't in fact a simple process. If you really don't know how to exchange crypto currencies for eachother I suggest using one of the official guides on the forums.

It looks a lot like a scam or some kind of keylogger attempt to me, especially if they're trying to keep quiet about it through PM, don't ever trust people who try to do 'business' with you by telling you to go to a shifty looking website and entering in your details.

I don't think blockchain would appreciate this sort of thing. Have you checked with blockchain to see if this acceptable? Maybe they would like to know of people trying to use their service inappropriately?
