I'm beginning to notice a lot of new coins where they are premined to hell and then after a day or two the coin sponsor just moderates out the negative posts and removes the premine notice from the announcement post.

People come along and think gee this must be good.  Sad

Lets just say I find it "shocking" how many bad coins there are.

Is there any way to look at previous versions of posts or otherwise have some means of tracking premines that can't be moderated away?

I was thinking just last night it would be nice to have a website that listed all the relevant coins and new releases and sorted them by Scypt/SHA, Pow/Pos, Speed, Premine, etc.

That way when a new coin comes out you log everything you can find out about it.

Another thing to watch out for is when they don't mention premine in the ann post til after they launch and people are mining.

also virustotal is your friend.

A site that keeps track of releases and old coins would be nice...

It seems there are two issues to address, the premine and the instamine, along with the lack of source or wallets at the time of launch. There are a number of coins where only one wallet was released at launch (no source) and users on either Mac, Windows or Linux were shut out of the initial mining.

Maybe a db/table with classification by how the coin was launched?

Premined? (Yes/No and % or coins in premine)

Instamined? (Yes/No and %, blocks or coins in instamine period.)

Launched w/ Windows Wallet (Yes/No)

Launched w/ Linux Wallet (Yes/No)

Launched w/ Wallet Source (Yes/No)

Type (SHA, CPU, Scrypt)

Mining (POW, POS, POW/POS)

It seems many people don't realize that most of these coins will not last long enough to be 100% mined, so the premined % is not really from the total coins that could possibly be mined, but out of the total that will actually be mined before the coin dies off....which is a much larger percentage of the actual coins in circulation.

site with coin launch list that cool, but only good PR can bring success to coin Smiley

coin can have pow\pos , 0premine, 0 instamine, like Microcoin and have 0,0000001 price))

and coin can be meme shit and be popular Cheesy
