Ok so here's the deal, I only know basic programming, I'm more of an economics and philosophy guy than the economics and computer science guys who seem to occupy this forum.  However, I did have someone create the code for a crypto-currency of my design, but before I move on to releasing the coin I needed advice.  Firstly, (and I don't intend on having any work done before the release of the coin, I just want to have my plans ready, so please don't accuse me of doing something like pre-mining) I wanted to hire a computer programmer to make a mining pool after the coin is released, but I was hoping to a hire a programmer who didn't know about crypto-currencies, because I could probably pay them less and they would be more likely to give me 100% ownership rights to the pool.  But, because I don't know the difficulties involved I wasn't sure if this would even be possible or what prices I would need to offer to sound reasonable.  I also found this and didn't have the technical skills to determine if it would work well or not.  (http://www.devtome.com/doku.php?id=how_to_setup_a_merged_mining_bitcoin_pool_with_poolserverj)  .  So the following are some questions I had about the idea

1.  Is it reasonable to expect someone who is a very talented computer programmer, but has never been introduced to Bitcoin would be able to create and maintain a quality crypto-currency mining pool?

2.  If so how hard is the process and how many hours would it take to create and maintain?

3.  Are the link's instructions legitimate and would the mining pool be effective?

4.  If I need someone who is familiar with Bitcoin what would be a reasonable price to ask for the creation, but not maintenance of a mining pool.

Any and all help is appreciated.
