Uk verification ?

Uk verification...

Hi there I'm quite new to bitcoin. So I wanted to ask you guys if the uk verification process is safe? Websites like bitbargain or mtgox requires to do it. They're asking you to send photo ID, then pic of you holding your id.... Stinks for me. Has anyone done it? Did u have any problems?
