I don't get the bustabit part but you should use an escrow (MM) regardless of how much you double-check. Going first when 4K is involved against random strangers on the internet doesn't seem like something an intelligent person would do. Same goes for anyone willing to trade with you, they should rather use an escrow than sending you any account details to verify the "bits".

Adding onto this - one would need to verify source of coins which is never easy, unless the OP is a big miner.
