I just wanted to let you know about my new Bitcoin Tees store offering quality designs on premium shirts at bargain prices.

For US http://bitcointees.spreadshirt.com/ Starting from $11
For EU http://bitcointees.spreadshirt.co.uk/ Starting from £10 or €12

Prices Including Tax!

The Bitcoin community is strong and growing by the day.

So whether you’re a self-confessed geek, hip hop lover or model yourself on John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever. I hope my designs will appeal to you and make you stand out in the crowd.

Not only will you look super fly wearing my fashionable designs you will be making a statement about your beliefs to help inform the public. Its a great conversation starter and I’m sure you will get many thumbs up and nods of approval from passers-by. We need to continue to get the Bitcoin crypto-currency message out to the people. If you are passionate about Bitcoin like I am and what it represents, I hope you will like my designs and wear them with pride.

Thanks for your support.

I wish Spreadshirt had a Bitcoin payment option. However I still feel it is beneficial as wearing a Bitcoin t shirts would only increase exposure, help influence and encourage members of the public to find out more about Bitcoin. We should not isolate the public and retailers that do not accept Bitcoin, these are the people we need to win over. We have already seen the impact and influx of new adopters when Bitcoin is trending in main stream media. The more coverage to the public we have the more likely they will be to take action. If you are passionate about Bitcoin it is a win win scenario. You get to wear something delivering a message you believe in and at the same time showcase it to the public. Perhaps then Spreadshirt and other retailers will take note and be under more pressure to implement a Bitcoin payment system sooner rather than later.

I'm sure I do not need to point out the majority of people are still yet to dip their toes in the water. I think my t-shirts can only help not hinder Bitcoin progress.

I chose Spreadshirt as they had the lowest premiums, I think $16 for T Shirt is good value. I'm sure there are many of you like me who have family and friends sitting on the Bitcoin fence. My personal experience is that not only are the t-shirts a good conversation starter, you will find you will get lots of nods of approval and thumbs up from onlookers. This can only be good for Bitcoin. Perhaps when retailers are directly facing the Bitcoin messages at the checkouts they will eventually take action or at the very least question and investigate Bitcoin further. Then the battle is half won.

The more we increase the presence in public spaces, the sooner Bitcoin will be adopted on a larger scale. Strength in numbers right? Now where have i heard that before?..... :-P

The idea for a Bitcoin t-shirt shop was born out of frustration, I mingle in different social circles and it startles me that such a large number of people have no idea what Bitcoin is.

I have become known as that 'Bitcoin Guy' and felt t-shirts would be a good way to express my pro-Bitcoin agenda with designs that I would be happy to wear. I'm sure there are other people like me that find themselves in similar situations. I think it is a useful tool to confront the public and I can only see that Bitcoin stands to gain from it than rather than lose out.

I did a lot of research before I embarked on my designs and concluded that designing plus purchasing equipment, creating and holding stock was too problematic and took too much away from the primary goal of getting the t-shirt ideas out in to the public domain.

Reflecting on this I did do quite a bit of research on what other options were available that had the quality, logistics, costs and practicality benefits.

I concluded after reading many reviews that my options where Wordans, Zazzle, Cafepress and Spreadshirt. Spreadshirt had great reviews on end products at lowest prices and had a big coverage of US/Europe area. But another reason I chose Spreadshirt is because of the article below issued Dec 11th from Philip Rooke CEO of Spreadshirt. Please read the article and take particular note to:

Quote
"But I’m going to be open-minded. I believe that businesses do need to think ahead and future-proof their practices if they want to succeed. My job is to try and cover as many of our customers’ needs as possible, so if someday enough people tell me they want to use Bitcoin, then we will adapt and find ways of taking Bitcoin payments!"

Why do I tell you all of this, it is not to defend or to justify my shop. It is to show the thinking behind it. I was concerned when I posted I may get some backlash as it boarder lines on spamming promoting my own shop. But you guys are my main market. We are the very people that spread the good word and prospects of Bitcoin. We are on the same team. I preach about Bitcoin probably too much for my own good. Just like I mentioned in my original post I'm passionate about Bitcoin and want my t-shirts to be worn with pride.

Once again I will say we should not isolate business because they have not implemented Bitcoin payment options as with that outlook you might get very hungry next time it comes round to your weekly shop. Just saying.....

Thank you for your time.

Also those visiting the US shop.....Although the main shop features t -shirts for men. For those unfamilar with Spreadshirt you can go to the designs menu tab for more options.

Select the design you want and you can choose from a massive selection of garments from tees, hoodies, ladies garments and even iphone covers!

So ladies don't fret, the reason behind the main shop featuring t-shirts for guys was a decision I made as I did not want pollute shop with duplicate designs for ease of use.

Please don't feel left out and use the design menu mentioned above.

Many sizes and colors for you to select.

Cheers.
