Boomcoin (BMC) is a new cryptocurrency created to be a fair and stable experience for everyone, unlike many cryptocurrencies lately. Our goal is to release a scrypt cryptocurrency with an active community, and therefore starting off without a premine or instamine.

Initial Block Reward: 1200 BMC
Block Time: 3 minutes
Total Coins: 210,240,000
Last Coin Produced: Ten years
Halving Rate: 87,600 blocks (Six Months)

First week bonus:
In order to draw in interest, we are starting the coin off with a small bonus for people who mine in the first week
We are not making it large enough to cause an instamine
First 2 days: *0.7 < block 961
Next 2 days: *0.8 < block 1921
next 3 days: *0.9 < block 3361

Release Schedule:
Release Date: Saturday, February 1st at 5:00pm EST

Sorry everyone, the release is currently stopped for the time being. I am completely rewriting the code with some new features. I promise to ressurect this coin sometime in the future, but the new features will take a while to code. I am not creating a definite release date! Sorry again!

Is their some sort of calendar that I can see different launch dates? I would rather choose a day with fewer releases.

About 30 coins get released per day now, so it doesn't really matter which date you pick.

Bump: Everyone! I still haven't been able to compile the coin as I am on windows, and it is near impossible with mingw. If you are on linux and can help compile boomcoin, please message me! If I can't get it done by tomorrow, I will most likely have to postpone the release
